Hotel Reservations T&C's

Cancellation Policy

We know plans change. Should you wish to cancel your reservation you have a number of options to do so. Click the cancel button on your email confirmation or email the hotel directly at [email protected] or contact hotel reservations on 045 881111. We would advise that you take note of your unique cancellation number that you receive.

Cancellations

Cancellations and amendments are permitted for individual reservations including extra amenities booked up to 4 pm at least 24 hrs prior to the day of arrival. Cancellations are permitted for Spa Packages up until 4pm at least72 hrs prior to arrival. In the event of late cancellation or non-arrival your credit card will be charged for the first night’s accommodation and all amenities booked including packages for each room reserved. The hotel reserves the right to pre-authorise cards prior to arrival. Should the card decline, we also reserve the right to advise of this accordingly and request cancellation of the booking within the cancellation policy.

Advance Purchase & Prepaid Rates

For all advance Purchase and prepaid rate reservations, the room rate for the full duration of the stay and any pre-booked amenities (e.g. champagne on arrival or extra meals, upgrades, treatments, etc) is charged in full at time of reservation. If you cancel for any reason, modify this reservation, or do not arrive on your specified check-in date, your payment is non-refundable.

Group Bookings

For group bookings of 5 rooms a separate cancellation policy applies, please contact the hotel directly or refer to your contract with the hotel.

Non -Arrival

In the event you do not arrive and do not cancel first night’s accommodation, amenities and packages will be charged for each room reserved.

Meeting and Events T&Cs

All room hire and amenities booked must be paid 7 days prior to arrival. Customer can cancel free of charge up to 72 hours prior to arrival

Events

Parties/events up to 30 people: A deposit for €200 is required at time of booking. Event can cancel free of charge up to 14 days prior to arrival. Minimum number of guests required at time of booking final number required 7 days prior.
Parties/events 31 people and over: 25% deposit required at time of booking. Event can cancel free of charge up to 1 month prior to arrival. Minimum number of guests required at time of booking final number required 14 days prior.
All deposits are non-refundable in the event of cancellation; however, they can be transferred to an available date within three months of the original event date.

Weddings

A deposit for €1500 is required on wedding bookings
All deposits are non-refundable in the event of cancellation however, they can be transferred to an available date within three months of the original wedding date.
Final balance of estimated charge for the event (less the deposit prepaid) is due in full one month prior to the wedding.

Cancellation for bedroom reservations within an event

If the client wishes to cancel a booking or cancel a reservation of some or all bedrooms reserved either as a block booking or in conjunction with an event, such cancellations must be advised to the Hotel in the first instance verbally, followed by written notice of cancellation. Any postponements may be considered as a cancellation.
In the unfortunate event of cancellation, the hotel will make every effort to re-sell the space. Should the hotel be unsuccessful in reselling the space, cancellation charges will be incurred as follows:

• Prior to 4 months from arrival date – 25% of service booked
• From 4 months to 1 month from arrival date – 50% of service booked
• From 1 month to 2 weeks from arrival date – 75% of service booked
• Within 2 weeks of arrival date – 100% of service booked
